About Mentorship Conversations

AKAD Mentorship Conversations series connect distinguished peers, leaders & professionals to students. Persons enjoying success in leadership, career development, community service and personal growth – and happy to share from the same.

This session will feature Lennox Ochieng, whose profile is shared here. He will be sharing practical wisdom, personal stories, and transformative lessons - especially for those keen on studies abroad, and specifically in the United States of America on scholarship.

In keeping with our AKAD tradition, attendees will engage Socratically in open dialogue; asking questions to gain clarity and understanding of the academic parthways for admission, the value and place of leadership excellence, and the opportunities for career success thereafter. This is especially for those passionate about the principles of top, world class institutional admissions, scholarships preparation (SAT etc) for elite locations and schools in the United States of America.

Our aim

To impact, inspire, influence, empower & cultivate a culture personal & community leadership success for those within our current educational schools - with a clear vision and pathway for similar success as they pursue their vision, mission, goals, purpose and calling.

You attend these sessions to engage; not to sit back and be entertained.

The theory of multiple intelligences suggests traditional measures of intelligence, like IQ tests, don’t fully capture diverse ways people can be “smart.” Developed by Harvard professor Howard Gardner in 1983, this theory proposes that intelligence isn’t a single, unified ability but rather a collection of distinct intelligence types.

Our seminars aim at helping provide the skills to identify & strengthening overall intelligence for academic, career & life success. Not just cramming from books for paper grades.

When students are rushed through academics, they lack knowledge & courage to confidently identify their core strengths; personal gifts, talents, skills and abilities. This is best matched with relevant & available emerging  and future career opportunities - making better, informed academic & career choices in keeping with "God's will which is good, acceptable and perfect" (Romans 12:2). We therefore "perish for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6)

AKAD are passionate about developing Youth Leaders; who with wisdom, manage personal and global challenges & change. Youth able to have vision, anticipate, strategize and lead change. We "prepare the students for the road", not prepare the road for the students in successfully pursuing their lifetime dreams, vision, mission and goals.
