Many people today experience loneliness, social isolation, weak community connections, and limited opportunities for meaningful engagement. Despite increased digital connectivity, many individuals lack a sense of belonging and supportive community networks.

Communities are becoming fragmented, while opportunities for personal growth, social interaction, wellness, and collaboration remain limited.

Through local circles, social events, learning programs, wellness activities, leadership development, shared interest groups, and community engagement initiatives, Connect Circle brings people together to build meaningful relationships and stronger communities.

Eva Matindi 

Eva is a marketing, customer relations, and community engagement professional with experience spanning the corporate, development, and social impact sectors.

She is the Founder of Love After Forty Ltd, the company behind Mapenzi Connect and Connect Circle. Through these initiatives, she develops communities, events, and platforms that promote meaningful connection, learning, networking, and social wellbeing.

Her professional background includes marketing, fundraising, account management, business counselling, project support, partnership development, and community engagement. She has worked with organizations including World Vision Kenya, WorldSpace (AfriSpace) Kenya, Century Advertising, FedEx, Corporate Renewal Centre, and SEPSO.

Eva is passionate about creating opportunities for connection, belonging, and engagement, and building communities that help people develop relationships, expand their networks, and strengthen their support systems.
       


Rev. Dr. Julius Weche, Facilitator

Rev. Dr. Julius Weche is a mentor; Founder & Team leader of Akad Education Group – Africa (2010); Leadership & Management lecturer with  ESAMI – Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (Dubai, Kenya, Tanzania) and CPSTCentre for Professional Training – Parliament of Kenya. Offering training in Leadership & Management Excellence; with emphasis on Negotiation, Communication, Strategy, Emotional intelligence and more. He was recently a BLR, Etihad Museum Experience Executive in Dubai, UAE and ordained by the ACK - Anglican Church of Kenya (2014).

Dr. Weche’s educational solutions with AKAD Africa led to being twice invited as speaker-panelist at Harvard Business School (HBS); Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, USA and as Africa’s representative to HEC MBA Paris, France. He has been GMAC representative for GMAT examinations in East Africa, was CEO of Leruo Services (PTY) Ltd in Gaborone, Botswana (1993-2005). Leadership solutions include serving in Narc Kenya political party for 10 years as Shadow Education Cabinet Secretary, National Executive Committee (NEC), Think Tank Chair & Negotiation Trainer.

Dr. Weche has impacted, influenced and inspired over 100,000 youth in schools over the last decade. This has resulted in admissions with scholarships (of up to USD 100,000 per student per year) to top, world class universities; Harvard, Yale, UPenn, Brown, Duke - United States of America and other countries; Germany, Japan, China, Australia, Cyprus, UK and South Africa. He has often featured in Kenyan and international media. He led AKAD Signature success programs locally and internationally. Academically, Dr. Weche is a PhD candidate in Leadership & Management. He holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree from De Montfort University (UK) and Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree (BVM), University of Nairobi (UoN). He has undertaken graduate studies in Dispute Resolution (UMass, Boston), Negotiation (PON - Harvard Law School), Governance (NIST), Financial Management (Strayer University, USA), Mediation certificate (MMS, Boston), Certified Professional Mediator (CPM), Biblical Doctrine (NBTI), Import & Export – Clearing & Forwarding and Shotokan Karate Sensei & Discipler for over 30 years; published author of “Conflict and Deception in Relationships and Marriage” on Amazon.com
