PROBLEM:

Youth in schools suffer from these key challenges & problems;

  • Youth lack of confidence!
  • Lack of intentional mentors in academic, career & life-skills preparation for success.
  • Need for clarity in academic & career success pathways
  • Lack of strategic preparation for admissions to top, world class universities e.g. Ivy League Schools
  • Few intentional & strategic leadership youth development programs
  • “Work Ready” skills for youth on graduation
  • Real entrepreneurship development in youth!

SOLUTION

Few schools & programs specifically introduce these personal leadership success concepts to youth who therefore lack knowledge in identifying gifts, abilities, talents, skills & passions. These help to best match the same with available, realistic career opportunities.

Historically, career decisions are made on academic grades & college placement - and often disappoint! This includes pure guess-work, peer & parental pressure or biased media exposure. These totally ignore intrinsic basics of one's capacities, abilities, motivation for long term sustainable success & possible options; God's will that is good, acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2).

Purely academic based examination systems are a poor measurement of a student’s retentive, analytical, moral and  intelligences - from emotional, social, adversarial and other. Yet these are the culturally accepted standard used in eliminating students when in stiff competition for limited academic based career opportunities. As a result, Life-skills needed to success are not instilled early; one has to find out the hard way, through "the school of hard knocks" with unnecessary pain of failures.

Change is a given. An effective leader needs to anticipate, strategize for and enable self, organisations and community proactively navigate change. And at best, LEAD the change.

Leadership is best rewarded by managing, pioneering & leading change. Our Christian faith based youth seminars introduce youth as potential future leaders to better understand, address, embrace, manage & lead change as a positive process in the pursuit of their lifetime vision, mission and goals.
